We want to be much in prayer for our youth mission team that will be traveling to Romania during the dates of July 14-26. The group will be leading at Camp Emmanuel in Transylvania Province. This camp is operated by Cornel Fedor. Brother Fedor is a good and godly man. The mission team includes Amanda Biddlecome, Kaylee Bryant, Tony Costello, Megan Costello, David Hamilton, Caleb Hamilton, Adeleigh Hamilton, Nikki Jackson, Andrew Little, Bill Little, Alyss Noe, Bobbi Noe, Emily Powell, Ellisha Thomas, Heather Thomas, and Linda Vess. This group has worked extremely hard in raising funds for this mission trip. A special "thanks" goes out to everyone at Sweetwater for supporting their various fund raising projects. Please, pray that the team will have safe travel, good health, and ministry success. We look forward to hearing how God uses this group to promote the gospel and build the Kingdom of God in the wonderful country of Romania.
It is time to begin thinking about deacon nominations. As you know, this is a very important position in the church that requires prayerful consideration. The deacon nominating forms are available on the counter at the Information Center. Please, place the completed form in a sealed envelope and place it in the VAULT or the offering plate.
You will recall that last summer we sponsored the motion picture, "The Secrets of Jonathan Sperry" in the Augusta theaters. Because of our sponsorship, Rich Christiano of Five and Two Pictures is allowing Sweetwater Church members to obtain the DVD of "The Secrets of Jonathan Sperry" and another DVD entitled "Unidentified" for a $20 donation to Five and Two Pictures. The set may be secured at the church office or through the church library (via Mrs. Francine Hughes). This is a wonderful opportunity to have excellent Christian entertainment in your home and perhaps do some early Christmas shopping.
